The Jacaranda Accessibility

ALL ACCESS REQUESTS FOR SHOWS MUST BE SUBMITTED 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT OR WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE.

We want all our guests to feel welcome. Please note that the live performance space located on the basement floor and record store on the first floor are not wheelchair accessible. While we will always do our very best to accommodate individual access needs within the restrictions of the building, some requests may not be possible. We encourage you to contact us in advance so we can support your visit.

ACCESSIBILITY TICKETS

All shows are standing - room only, however, we do offer limited Accessibility Tickets to support guests with accessible needs.

Please purchase an accessible ticket type if you require any of the following:

  • Complimentary tickets for essential companions or carers.

  • Access to a dedicated space with seating available.

  • Alternate queuing options due to inability to stand for a long period of time.

Our Accessibility tickets include:

  • 1 x companion ticket.

  • 1 x seat in our access area (please note field of view may be obstructed).

  • Assistance with entrance and queuing.

Once an accessibility ticket has been purchased, please fill in the Accessibility form and a member of our team will be in touch to arrange the required support. To qualify, you will need to provide evidence that the support required is substantial and directly related to your disability.

Once accessibility tickets are sold out, we cannot accept further seating or companion requests. This is non-discriminatory and is in order to remain compliant with health, safety, and fire regulations.

ACCESSIBILITY PASSES

For guests who require alternative queuing accommodations due to disabilities that are not apparent or that do not involve mobility needs, we offer a limited number of accessibility passes.

To request a pass, please purchase a general admission ticket and email accessibility@jacarandarecords.co.uk with your order number and proof of eligibility. These passes are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

ENTRANCE & ACCESS

The entrance to The Jacaranda is raised, but a portable ramp is available for wheelchair access upon request.

Please note our ground floor bar is not level, with various raised booth platforms across the floor.

Our live performance space located on the basement floor and record store on the first floor are not wheelchair accessible. Access to both floors is only viable through steep sets of stairs with handrail on the right-hand side.

Accessibility Toilet

Unfortunately we do not have an accessible toilet. Our ladies toilets are located on the first and basement floor. Male toilets are on the ground and basement floor.

SEATING & QUEUING

All shows are standing-room only, but chairs can be provided upon request. For events with long queues, guests who are unable to stand for extended periods are encouraged to notify us in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.

STAFF ASSISTANCE

While our staff do not have formal accessibility training, they are available to assist with ramps and general support as needed.

VISUAL ENVIRONMENT

Please be aware that the live room is kept very dark during performances, which may impact visibility.

AUDIO SUPPORT

We are unable to provide sign language interpretation or audio translation for deaf or hard-of-hearing guests. If you require ear protection, please bring your own.

ASSISTANCE DOGS

Certified assistance dogs are welcome. Please provide official documentation verifying the dog's training to support you in event environments. Emotional support animals are not permitted.
