Independent Venue Week returns to our venues with a packed seven day programme

Independent Venue Week is set to return this January, with The Jacaranda and Jacaranda Baltic hosting a full week of live music and DJ sets celebrating the city’s grassroots music scene.

Running from Monday 26 January to Sunday 1 February, the week-long programme brings together established names, emerging artists and local favourites across both venues, reinforcing The Jacaranda’s long-standing role as a cornerstone of Liverpool’s independent music culture.

The week opens on Monday 26 with The Kiezers at The Jacaranda, followed by Harry Strange on Tuesday 27. Wednesday 28 sees a dual-venue showcase, with Dead Dads Club performing at The Jacaranda while MIKA takes over Jacaranda Baltic.

On Thursday 29, Orlagh Niamh headlines The Jacaranda before a standout Friday 30 featuring a special Kula Shaker (Matinee) performance alongside Sterling Press, both taking place at The Jacaranda.

The weekend continues on Saturday 31 with CJ Pandit at The Jacaranda and CAST performing at Jacaranda Baltic, before the week closes on Sunday 1 with an Open Mic night at The Jacaranda, highlighting emerging talent and community participation.
