Applications open for Jacaranda Launchpad

Applications are open for Jacaranda Launchpad, our competition for new bands and artists. Shortlisted acts play heats at The Jacaranda Club from 3rd November. The best go through to the semi-finals and final at Jacaranda Baltic, and the final is on Friday 27 November. A panel from Jacaranda picks the winner.

What the winner gets

The winning act gets a studio recording, their track pressed on vinyl, a mentor from Jacaranda Records and a headline show.

Who can apply

Launchpad is open to bands and solo artists from the North West and the rest of the UK, as long as you can get to Liverpool for your showcase dates. Everyone in the act needs to be 18 or over, and you'll need to be able to play three original songs and one cover.

How to apply

It's free. Fill in the form on the Launchpad page by 19 October: tell us about your act and send the track you'd want us to hear first. We'll pick the acts for the heats and get in touch with your date.

Come down to the shows

Every showcase is open to the public, and tickets are £3. If you're playing, bring your mates.
