We've Been Named Best Independent Record Store in the UK

Jacaranda Records team with the Best Independent Record Store award, Independent Music Awards 2026

On Tuesday night at London's Roundhouse, Jacaranda Records was named Best Independent Record Store at The Independent Music Awards 2026.

The Independent Music Awards are run by AIM, the Association for Independent Music, and they celebrate the artists, labels and businesses that keep UK independent music thriving. This year's theme was "Collective Strength", and how independence doesn’t mean doing it on your own.

We were up against four brilliant shops: Applestump Records in Nantwich, Just Dropped In in Coventry, Ignite Record Store in Birmingham and Slow Century Records in Solihull. Huge respect to all of them.
